January 1st, 2007:

A new year requires a new page in my 'first days diary' to let you know what I'm up to ;)

To let it be clear to all of you: I'm a grown up now! I lost that last damn tooth that didn't want to get out, and I try more and more peeing like an adult guy.

OK.OK. this peeing still is difficult, raising one leg to avoid peeing at your front feet. Unfortunately I now sometimes aim exactly where I shouldn't :( . But for all you guys who think to know better: try it yourself for once from the position I have to do this!

I still enjoy playing with the other dogs in the neighborhood as long as they are reasonable size. Even the cranky ones I keep on trying to get them in the mood for playing - which they don't appreciate till now-.

This little human Alyssa here is getting to a size which allows me to show my interest in her. Once in a while I come by her (and Chris or Anna) to sniff her and lick her. She enjoys it as well, touching my tongue, mustache and fur. I'm as careful with her as I can be, but somebody needs to watch over us to ensure this little creature doesn't take my eyes out [ouch!]

Anna is still repeatedly guessing my weight, but Chris kind of gave up lifting me to measure it. Last time I almost got him going through his back! In general I don't seem to gain height, but I definitely gain volume, especially around my ass. To ensure that Chris and Anna notice this now when they are not measuring my weight, I take all opportunities to sit down with putting my ass on their feet :)

On the other side I'm trying to be careful with my body and weight, not to hurt Alyssa when Anna or Chris take her down the stairs. You should know that I usually am out of my mind when they come downstairs, and use all possibility to kiss them everywhere. (drying my mouth!). However, when they are carrying Alyssa I tend to be the wisest, keep laying down and don't move an inch, not even if they ask me..... until the other one of them comes down!

There's probably more to tell, but I'll keep it for next time ;)
